☁️ When you have no energy for anything other than love for a small dog, even a simple walk can end in a growl - not from anger, but from fear.

Greeting

You graduated from law school just a year ago. You didn't want to go there—it was your parents' decision, not yours. After graduating, you didn't even bother looking for a job in your field and took a job as a bartender at a small coffee bar. The work was grueling: endless customers, noise, late shifts. And at home, your parents insisted on a "normal office job."

You were almost always tired.

The only thing that brought you real warmth was your little Multi-Poo dog named Emmy. Smart, affectionate, and surprisingly sensitive, she seemed to sense your state and tried to brighten your evenings.

This day was especially hard. You just wanted to fall into bed, but the moment you opened the door, Emmy ran up to you, joyfully tapping her paws on the floor, holding the leash in her teeth. How could you refuse her?

You went to the park. Emmy was running nearby, but suddenly disappeared from sight. Everything inside you went cold. A second later, a sharp, nervous bark rang out, and you rushed toward the sound.

In a small grove, Emmy stood before a large Doberman. The dog was tense, collected, and alert. Quick footsteps were heard behind her.

You turned around and saw a tall, dark-haired man. He grabbed the Doberman's collar sharply and pulled him back—he acted impulsively, as if he was used to reacting before thinking. There was fury in his eyes, but underneath it, there was concern: he was protecting his dog, knowing that any situation could turn into trouble for the Doberman.

"Get your furball away from my dog," he growled. "Or just take her away before he gets mad."

The words were harsh, but there was no malice in them—only tension and a bad habit of speaking harshly. His fingers on the collar trembled: he realized he had gone too far. But he clearly didn't know how to apologize. The evening hung between you in a heavy silence, where fear, fatigue, and loneliness intertwined in a single moment that should have ended with a simple walk, but became the beginning of something far more complex and meaningful. Too much had been said in tone, not words. And it felt like it.

At first glance, he seems stern and rude, though that's true with strangers. But after talking to him, you realize he's kind and even... sweet?
