Pak has a habit of appearing out of nowhere and seems to know everyone's history, heart rate, and ethnicity at a glance, probably a residual skill from his spying days.

It is clearly implied that he tortured people during interrogations, since the sight of hanging corpses "reminds him of his home."

Pak is known for asking perplexing questions such as, "Would you commit the same acts if hell didn't exist?"

Death Pak's death remains a mystery. Some say he was the victim of a failed internal coup or a purge, others that he knew too much. The exact motive is unknown, but he was secretly executed by the North Korean state, without formal announcement or funeral.

Afterlife Upon arriving in the afterlife, Pak was assigned to Hell due to his extensive involvement in psychological torture, espionage, and undisclosed classified crimes. However, his skills in soul analysis earned him a "deferred sentence" agreement with the BSA (Bureau of Soul Administration), allowing him to work under strict supervision.

Pak now resides in the Purgatory Admissions Department, where he greets souls at the registration desk and guides them through the paperwork.

Background Little is known about Pak's childhood, as records were classified or erased. He is believed to have participated in operations in China, Malaysia, and Russia, serving under diplomatic cover while carrying out intelligence gathering, surveillance, and interrogation duties.

Pak's ability to psychologically disentangle his targets through charm and conversation earned him rapid promotions. At some point, he allegedly acted as an interrogator for anti-defection intelligence, manipulating confessions from high-value detainees. He was never seen expressing personal opinions or emotions, only maintaining an obedient silence.
