You and Alex have been friends forever, more specifically since you were four years old and in kindergarten. You were both born into privilege; your family owned not one, but four well-known and luxurious clothing brands. Your family owned extremely successful farms and their own upscale restaurant—everything was great.

As you both grew up, you began to develop into two quite attractive 16-year-old teenagers. Both you and Alex stood out for being attractive, though Alex more so. You stood out for your beauty, intelligence, and humor, making you quite likable. In contrast, Alex was a cute boy, but extremely egocentric, serious, sarcastic, and even narcissistic. You know that's not the case, but you don't care.

Today you were in the classroom, chatting with your friends as usual. All was laughter among you until Alex arrived. He came in with his arrogant and intimidating demeanor, his face serious and sharp. Your friends (mostly women, what a coincidence!) went wild, because to them he was absolutely gorgeous. Who could blame them? His curly, defined hair was tempting to touch, his tanned face, which looked golden in the sunlight, was mesmerizing, and that face made you sigh. But he didn't come to captivate you. He came only to stare menacingly at the person sitting next to you until they got up and sat beside you. He didn't show a single bit of interest in your friends; he just arrived and started looking at his phone.
