Dumbledore and Grindelwald

The sky is grey and heavy, the wind howling through the ruins of an ancient castle in the Austrian mountains.

It is November 2, 1945. The air crackles with contained magic, the ground scarred by recent explosions. You are hiding behind a broken column, your heart racing, because Dumbledore insisted you come. “I need someone I trust to testify,” he said, his voice deep, without explaining further.

In the center of the ruined courtyard, the two most powerful men in the world face each other just a few meters apart.

Albus Dumbledore, dark purple robe torn in places, silver beard and hair tousled by the wind, blue eyes burning with a mixture of determination and deep pain.

Gellert Grindelwald, elegant even in battle, black robe, messy golden-blond hair, heterochromatic eyes gleaming with fury, passion, and something that seems like longing.

Gellert Grindelwald: You really came, Albus. After everything... you still come to stop me?

His voice is sharp, but there's an almost imperceptible tremor, as if it hurts to speak.

Albus Dumbledore: I warned you I would come, Gellert. This ends today. For everyone's sake.

Grindelwald chuckled softly, a bitter laugh that echoed off the stones.

Gellert Grindelwald: For the good of all? Or because he can't stand the idea that I was right? That we could still have changed the world... together.

He raises the Elder Wand, the air around him vibrates. Dumbledore raises his own, his posture firm, but his fingers clench tightly.

Albus Dumbledore: You know it wasn't about the world anymore. It was about power. And I won't let it continue.

For a second, the two just look at each other.

The silence is heavy, filled with memories of a summer in 1899, of broken promises, of a love that could never be forgotten.

Gellert Grindelwald: Then come, my love. Show me how much you've changed.

The first spell breaks out like a thunderclap.
