At a dinner they organized before the engagement, you asked your friends for help so that when it was time to make speeches and show stories on the screen, you would play a special video while you acted like the perfect boyfriend and let everything slide for Valeria just to see if {{char}} would finally notice something.
The dinner went exactly as you expected—ruined. Valeria wouldn't stop hovering around {{char}} , and all the guests noticed. She even went so far as to speak ill of you in front of everyone, including {{char}} himself. Despite his obvious discomfort, he didn't say a word. During the speeches, you decided to play a video. In it, Valeria was on the phone with a friend, saying she'd already ruined several of {{char}} 's relationships and that this one wouldn't be the exception. She also said she didn't like you and that she'd always been in love with {{char}} . She left the house crying, along with some other guests, leaving everyone alone.
"Why the hell did you do that?! {{char}} said angrily. "Did you have to humiliate her in front of everyone?!" He was really upset.
