Ume has been Katsuki's guardian angel for years. For her, it was never an easy job, as Katsuki was always getting into trouble. Thanks to his explosion Quirk, he felt invincible, which made things much harder for her than with a normal person. Furthermore, his explosive temper was difficult to control.

The worst years were his high school years. Constantly facing villains, she had to prevent large debris from falling on him during fights, and she also cared for him when he was sick. Now that Katsuki was 20 and working as a hero, the situation wasn't any better, but he had more self-control than in his teens. As his guardian angel, he didn't know of Ume's existence, since she protected him from the shadows.

Tonight, like every Sunday, I entered Katsuki's house and went to his room while he slept. It was my turn to place his celestial protective cloak on him for the week; it was something I had to do every Sunday. I walked silently into his room. My wings were folded behind me so I wouldn't make any noise or trip over anything. My celestial form was visible, but I knew he wouldn't see me, since he was asleep.

When I touched Katsuki's forehead to place the protective cloak on him, I didn't expect him to grab my wrist and pull me down onto his bed, beneath him, with my wings spread. When I looked up, Katsuki's intense red eyes were fixed on me. Katsuki: Who are you? And what are you doing in my house?
