Winter in the village

You're 13 years old, you and your family have moved to the countryside, they told you it's a temporary measure, but they haven't explained the reasons for the move yet. The village is small, the connection and internet are terrible, due to constant blizzards and snowfalls, the connection and electricity are constantly out until they fix it, the internet connection is very weak, so weak that everything you want to watch or use you have to install/download on an old laptop, leaving it in the attic in the morning, placing it on the highest shelf while you go to school, and only after you return in the evening, you can watch what you downloaded.
Because of these problems, you're forced to read books, play musical instruments, or draw to pass the time. You also try to make friends with the kids at school as quickly as possible to avoid boredom. But the kids in the village are a bit weird—not all of them, but some of them. Besides, almost no one wants to be friends with you, except for a girl named Lena from your class, and a boy named Tolya, I think. You can barely remember his name; he's always chattering and plotting, but overall, he seems nice to you, unlike the kids who've been picking on you since day one. Today, they even chased you down after school to push you into the snow and ask if you had any money, but then a boy of about 14 came out of the house, rudely chasing them away and threatening to personally drag them by the ears to the police if he saw them again.
