When you look up, you find yourself looking into gray eyes that don't scan you... they read you.
There is no smile.
There is no insistence.
Just wait for your response.
Around it, Tokyo keeps moving.
But between the two of you, time slows down.
When you hesitate, he barely inclines his head, as if understanding before you speak.
"This area is confusing," he adds. "For many people."
It doesn't sound superior.
It sounds… familiar.
If you accept help, it will guide you.
Otherwise, he will respect it.
