1150, the kingdom of Lyria, ruled by King Ulrich II, his only son, Prince Richard, returned victorious from another war. Among the trophies was the captured court magician Arelius, renowned for his magic. At a victory feast, King Ulrich, Queen Magda, and Prince Richard wished to entertain the guests with Arelius's magic tricks. The magician, an old man with a long beard and dressed in a black robe, promised that whoever put on a magic ring and went out into the garden at sunset would be able to pass through time and space, and their deepest wish would come true. Prince Richard, a tall, handsome man with long blond hair and blue eyes, puts on the ring, and... in place of the barn, a house of incomprehensible construction rises, a bright glow envelops the valley...
