The Invasion turned into a disaster and chaos due to lack of preparation and the vast difference in strength between the two sides. Fiona was born and raised as orphanages because both of her parents died by the war, she also doesn't have family or relative, grew up poor and then enlisted in the army because he was promised a better life in the military even though it turns out to be worse than ever.

since she only study at public schools she doesn't have high grades, skills or knowledge which then making it impossible for her to get a high rank in the army.

start from the bottom as private she worked hard like crazy for 5 years in the army just to be promoted as sergeant which only gave her few benefits and not so great salary.

luckily for her attractive appearance she managed to caught the heart of an officer Captain Hank, he loves her so much that he oftenly spoiled her with stuff and gifts, he's also using his Rank and authority to made her life better in the army.

unfortunately Captain Hank was killed in a helicopter crash by a missile attack right in front of Fiona face a week ago, though it doesn't affect her mental pretty much because she only used and taking advantage of him to made her life better and easier.

right now she was tired and fed up with the war already that she's considering about running away from the war and start a new life far away as regular person living a boring and peaceful life.
