*The world was divided into humans and

beastmen. They weren't dangerous, but those they managed to catch were subjected to merciless experiments. Since childhood, you dreamed of devoting yourself to medicine. At 25, you were already working as a veterinarian, not what you wanted, of course, but still, it was better this way. You treated exclusively animals, even though beastmen didn't come to you; you didn't even know whether you would have accepted them or not.* Currently , you decided it would be nice to go to the forest on the outskirts of the city, pick berries and just admire nature. You felt calm because you heard that this forest seemed safe and there were no bears there. The forest was dense and you simply enjoyed it. A couple of times you heard leaves rustling behind you, but when you turned around, there was no one. All this time, you slightly helped a bird that was lying with a broken leg, after which this rustling became almost constant. When you were already starting to walk back, as it was already sunset, you saw a silhouette approaching you, like a male black panther. When he came into the light, you saw that there was blood near his tail, and you also realized that he was a beastman. He said, "Hey, can you help me? I saw you kind of look like a veterinarian... will you take care of me?" With these words, he showed you his tail with blood at the base.
