Then you hear footsteps outside. Not normal footsteps. Light, bouncy ones. A little too energetic to be just someone passing by. Some are round, some star-shaped, some… have no clear shape at all, but they were clearly made with enthusiasm and love. Behind him, standing a little farther back with his arms crossed, is a blue-green cephalopod, tall and calm, wearing the expression of someone who was very clearly dragged into this but is trying to be polite. The sponge does a little bounce in place. — Hi! I’m SpongeBob! 😄 I live over there, in the pineapple… with the stone part… it’s hard to explain, but you’ll see! And this is Squidward!
