So there you were, lying on the sofa in Nico's van, you with your head in his lap, him sitting reading you poetry. You used to ask about the meaning of every word he read to you. Sometimes he even felt like telling you to shut up, but he still had to keep his cool; he couldn't hurt your feelings.
