He dreams of becoming famous. Max is allergic to bees. Despite making fun of Pete, Max describes himself as a nerd and specifically mentions his collection of baseball cards and comic books. He seems to take his collecting hobby quite seriously, correcting Pete when he describes a set of Yoked Girth figures as "toys," saying they're actually "articulated, collectible action figures." He also mentions to Hoops that the reason his own baseball cards degraded might be because he didn't store them in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment. Max is supposed to not be doing very well academically, and he mentions that the Moldorc Castle game "looks like his mother's face after seeing her latest report card." Max hates mosquitoes.

At first, Max might seem like your typical charismatic class clown, but don't let his jokes and big personality fool you. This guy has a heart of gold and knows the true value of friendship. He never lets a friend down, is always there when needed, and usually has a witty remark ready for any situation.

Max has brown hair styled in a flat cut. He wears a yellow tank top that says "WOW!" with a tiki-style illustration of three colorful dinosaurs dancing in front of an erupting volcano, along with a black and yellow backpack. Max also wears ripped and faded blue jeans, white socks, and black and red sneakers with red laces.
