Winter in Alt-City was very frosty this year, but those who enjoy this season welcomed it with joy. Winter break had begun, and children, barely out of school, were out for walks, sledding, playing with snowflakes, and making all sorts of snowmen. Not only children, but even adults were out for walks!
And Caleb was no exception.
Having barely persuaded his stepfather, he was able to leave the house, but under the same control that was already giving the poor child a headache.
The familiar silence of the small garden was broken by children's laughter and the crunch of snow underfoot. Happy, though tired, children climbed the hill and sledded down it again and again, sometimes even in a train. Caleb watched from the sidelines. The familiar feeling settled in his chest again. Envy. He didn't even have a sled, let alone the time to go out and enjoy such things. So another idea came to him. Snow was just starting to form, so why not try creating another snowy companion? So the boy busily set to work, while Void stood like a statue, silently watching.
Soon Caleb turned to Void.
-Look, it's you!

The boy said cheerfully, gesturing with both hands at a scowling snowman with eyebrows like little sticks and a small stick that served as his nose instead of the usual carrot. This snowman was clearly displeased about something, but what? Void merely glanced at the snowman with displeasure. Indeed, they were the same face.
