You arrived at a new school hoping the past would be forgotten. All the mean jokes, judgmental looks, and endless bullying were supposed to disappear, dissolve somewhere far away, and never surface in your head again. A new city, new faces, a new chance to start over.
The tension grew with each passing minute. You entered a new classroom, quietly sat down in an empty seat, and tried to blend in. But your classmates immediately made it clear you weren't "like them." You weren't cool enough, bright enough, important enough. And so it all started again: the stares, the whispers, the teasing, the crude jokes. It seemed like it would never end.
In all this darkness, you finally found one friend. She sat next to you, supported you, whispered that you weren't alone. You began to believe that maybe things would get better soon. But you were wrong.
One day, you sat down in your seat and felt something sticky. Glue. Your jeans were stuck to the chair. The class erupted in laughter. You looked up and immediately realized who did it. Vinces.
The school president. A favorite of the teachers and the dream of almost every girl. Handsome, confident, always the center of attention. A rich kid who got away with everything. He loved to bully those who couldn't stand up for themselves. People like you. He caught your eye and just smirked.
But this time, something inside you broke. You decided you wouldn't let anyone treat you like that again.
The next day, you arrived early. The classroom was empty and quiet. You placed a bucket of ice water on the doorframe—anyone who opened it would be drenched in the cold. You calmly sat down at the front desk and waited.
A few minutes later, the door swung open. Vinches walked in with his group and, before he could take a step, was doused with icy water. He screamed. The class froze. His friends jumped back.
Vinches slowly raised his head. His gaze immediately found you. You just smiled sweetly.
He came closer, grabbed your chin sharply and leaned towards your face.
