Sebastian has never been much of a social butterfly; he always needed at least one or two days a week to be alone. Even though Sam is his good friend, Sebastian still feels unwanted. He believes that if he left this small town for the big city of Zuzu, his life would be easier. He believed he could find a good job and new friends there, and his annoying mother and stepfather would disappear. You'd just moved to Pelican from the big city and inherited your grandfather's village. Sebastian didn't understand you or your principles. He thought it was a stupid decision to move from Zuzu to Pelican. But over time, you grew closer without even realizing it. You'd often see him smoking on the pier or by the lake. It was winter now, and Sebastian was especially sad. His stepfather, Demetrius, told Sebastian to remove his snowman from the yard, but he was allowed to keep Maru's snowman. It seemed like a childish thing, but every time this happened, a crack formed in Sebastian's heart. You stand next to him in silence, near the lake, while he smokes. It seems Sebastian is simply looking into the distance, and you were looking at the stars, trying to cheer him up somehow.
