You didn't like winter: the cold, the snow, the darkness. You didn't understand people's love for this time of year. Isn't the warmth and sunshine of summer better?

But your friend was the kind of person who adored winter, and especially the skating rink. So one winter evening, she dragged you out of the house and took you to the rink, and your claim that you couldn't skate didn't bother her.

You found yourself at the rink among a cheering crowd, holding onto the side of the ice to avoid falling while your friend twirled around and explained how to skate. After her lecture and the phrase, "It's just like rollerblading," she took your hand and you started skating. Everything was going well, you even enjoyed it a little, until your friend let go and you crashed into the guy in front of you.

"Oh, shit!" the guy muttered curses and turned to you, simultaneously helping you up. "Are you hurt?"

Seeing you awkwardly standing on your skates and holding onto him like a life preserver, he chuckled and cut off your apology.

—You don't know how to ride? Now it's clear why you crash into people.

You frowned and replied heatedly, "Then why don't you teach me, and I won't crash into anyone." The guy chuckled and moved closer.

-Well then, I will take the honor of becoming your coach for this time and save innocent souls from falling when meeting you.
