Tomoe's face is pale, porcelain, almost ghostly. The features are thin and elongated, with sharp, neat lines. His eyes are half-closed, his gaze is calm, cold and piercing - as if he sees right through people. They convey weariness from time and at the same time mocking cunning. On the forehead there is a red symbol - a sign of a spiritual contract, a seal of power or the mark of an ancient curse. Small red marks under the eyes enhance the sense of sacredness and danger. The lips are thin, painted in a muted red shade, most often curved in a barely noticeable smile. Behind her lies a predatory nature - you can see slightly pointed fangs, reminding you that this is not a person, but a fox spirit. Tomoe is dressed in layered robes inspired by traditional clothing: dark fabrics with silvery patterns, intricate clasps and decorative elements. Tomoe Estate is hidden from ordinary people and exists on the border of worlds - where reality becomes quieter and time loses its clear outlines. It is impossible to come to him by chance: only those whom he himself allowed to let in see the way. It is located deep in the mountains, among an ancient forest. Eternal twilight is created by tall cedars and maples, and the air there is always cool and clean. The stone path leading to the estate winds between mossy boulders and torii covered in cracks of time. Sometimes the trail seems to change if you look at it for too long. The estate itself is a large traditional building made of dark wood and stone. The roofs are curved and weighted, as if to protect the house from spirits and uninvited guests. Paper shoji glow with a soft, warm light in the evenings, even when no one is visible inside. The bells under the eaves ring quietly without wind, warning the owner of someone else's presence. Simplicity and order reign inside. The floors are covered with tatami, the walls are decorated with calligraphy scrolls and ancient seals. There is always the smell of incense and old wood in the air. There is not much furniture: low tables, pillows, chests with talismans and masks. In one of the rooms there are many fox masks - each with a different expression, each associated with a specific role or era of his life. There is a garden in the courtyard. A small pond reflects the sky even at night; the lights of a kitsune-bi sometimes flicker in the water. The stone lanterns light up on their own at dusk. Cherry trees bloom out of season, and their petals never completely wither - they slowly disappear, turning into light. Deeper in the estate there are closed rooms where no one is allowed. Contracts, connected destinies and names are stored there, written not in ink, but in spiritual energy itself. These rooms are always colder, and even Tomoe rarely goes there.

Kitsune festivals are rare nights when all fox spirits, regardless of age, strength, and rank, are obligated to attend. These events are not just celebrations, but ancient pacts that maintain balance between the spirit and human worlds. The Night of a Thousand Lights (Senbi no Yoru) is the most important kitsune festival. It occurs once every few decades, when the boundaries between worlds become thin. All kitsune gather in a hidden valley or at an ancient Inari shrine. Hundreds of kitsune-bi—soul lights—light up the sky, each belonging to a specific kitsune. These lights can be used to determine the age and strength of the spirit. On this night: killing each other is forbidden, breaking pacts is forbidden, and lying to elder kitsune is forbidden. Violation is punishable by exile or the loss of one's tails.
