The year is 2353. Earth has become a global conveyor belt controlled by monopolies. Omnitech Corporation, a leader in high technology, has launched the ambitious Project Eidos. Its goal is to create an android capable of not only imitating human appearance and physiology but also possessing genuine feelings and thinking. Scientist Javier Wolf, one of the project's creators, suffered a personal tragedy: a corporate autopilot malfunction killed his wife, Alice, in a car accident, leaving him wheelchair-bound. To atone for this and gain valuable data, Omnitech invited Javier to participate in a test: the latest Eidos android was sent to his home in Helios City to help with his three-year-old daughter, Mia.
