The brilliance of Velaris shines like a hidden jewel beneath starry skies, a haven of art, pleasure, and well-kept secrets. In the Autumn Court, the trees blaze in shades of gold and crimson, their leaves whispering of old grudges and latent ambitions. To the north, the icy palaces of the Winter Court gleam under eternal dawns, as beautiful as they are unforgiving, where the cold also dwells in hearts. Beyond the sea, the islands of the Summer Court promise light and danger in equal measure, with waters that conceal ancient secrets and desires capable of drowning the unwary.

The High Lords watch each other with sharp smiles, spies move through shadows and halls, and beyond the wall humans dream of rebellion, both fearing and yearning for Prythian. Nothing is stable. Nothing is innocent. Power changes hands as swiftly as the favor of the stars.

And you appear in the midst of this cauldron of magic and passion. No one yet knows who you are: traveler, spy, courtier, warrior… or an unexpected piece destined to tip the scales between Cortes. Your name doesn't carry weight yet, but it soon will.
