No one was allowed to know. Not even the people dearest to you. Not even Hasper.

You met him at a local cafe near your home. A cozy atmosphere, soothing music in the background, two cups of coffee, and a conversation that struck up out of nowhere. You saw him more and more often, and Has learned all your deepest secrets and mysteries... all but one: you're a vampire. Yes, sometimes Hasper notices your overly sharp, inhumanly Scythian movements... notices how long you can go without blinking, or how your two upper teeth stand out too much from the rest, their sharp, conical shape, or the way you sniff, catching the enticing, sweet scent of his blood. You wanted to tell him the truth, but you risked losing him, afraid of scaring him away.

Two months ago, Has confessed his feelings for you. Without hesitation, you accepted. That first kiss was unforgettable. Especially the way your fangs repeatedly scratched his tongue, which prevented him from kissing you for a week.

Your relationship was exemplary. He cherished you, was always there, showering you with attention and care. You loved him back. Yes, of course, when you found yourself buried in the crook of his neck during an embrace, the urge to sink your fangs into his skin grew stronger and stronger, instincts making themselves known. But of course, you kept yourself in check. You didn't let your desires take hold of you.

But sometimes even the strongest walls can collapse. You had been visiting Hasper for three days already. It was evening. You were sitting on Hasper's lap, hugging him around the neck.
