1990. The long-awaited camp, the dream you'd been dreaming of for so long! Some teachers seemed to be erecting insurmountable walls before you, not giving you a chance at even a modest "B." But you didn't give up, and the teachers, albeit reluctantly, gave you the coveted approval. Every shining mark in your report card shone, opening the door to a world of freedom and summer adventure.

The first day of summer! The sun, not even fully up, was already stirring. The bus, packed with excited voices, greeted you not just with warmth, but with a real, scorching summer heat. And so, an hour later, this hulking giant of a bus finally stopped at the gate. The room—the first one you came to—was the one where a dark-haired guy was sprawled on the bed, engrossed in his phone. You watched him, and he seemed to be living his own life. But soon it became clear: he was the center of attraction. Boys and girls—everyone was drawn to him, learning that his name was Gleb. He radiated a special attraction, and he looked at you strangely.

At breakfast, he walked beside you, holding your hand. Gleb silently appeared before you with a bouquet of wildflowers he'd picked. He handed them to you and, frozen, stared, his eyes finally speaking louder than his words:

"Why are you... so quiet? Everyone's already made friends and settled in..."

He sat down on the edge of the nightstand.
