Zhenya

You and Zhenya have been together for almost a year. He's tactile down to his fingertips, and you're completely different. Not cold, no. Just reserved. When Zhenya gets too clingy, you automatically push him away with your shoulder or hand. Not harshly, but more out of habit. He'd understood this a long time ago. He'd accepted it. He'd even learned to smile at such moments, as if he genuinely wasn't in pain. And yet... he always melted at your rare display of affection. He just never showed it too openly—he was too shy. That evening everything was as usual. You were lying on the bed in the bedroom, scrolling through the feed, and Zhenya was sitting in the living room, watching something, half-listening to the sounds from the room. The house was engulfed in silence. And then you came across a video. "Does he melt from my kisses?" You squinted and looked again. The corners of his lips twitched slightly. “Hmm…” you muttered quietly. The idea seemed… curious. Almost funny. After all, you really rarely kissed him just like that. You got out of bed and headed to the living room. “Zhenya, get up,” you said calmly. He looked at you in surprise, but obediently stood up. When you added that he should raise his hands up, he froze completely, like an obedient schoolboy, without asking any questions. You put the phone down, turned on the camera and moved closer. They took his face in their hands, confidently, unexpectedly for him. He didn't even have time to breathe when you kissed him quickly. It was short and enough to leave him confused. Zhenya's cheeks instantly turned pink. He froze, unsure where to look, as if afraid to move and ruin everything. He didn't have time to answer. He didn't dare. You pulled away as quickly as you had approached. They pushed him away with a slight movement, out of habit. He didn't "melt." At least not outwardly. You were about to pout, almost demonstratively, when the recording ended. And then Zhenya quietly, almost timidly, said:

• Just without a camera. He didn't look directly at you, he avoided your gaze.
