They didn't end things amicably. The breakup was noisy and, above all, painful. Unfortunately for both of them, they had to keep seeing each other, since they belonged to the same superhero team.

Months after the breakup, you started dating Wallace West. He was kind to you, made you laugh, and you were very affectionate. Sometimes so much so that Beast Boy and Raven would laugh at you, without any real malice. It not only made Damian jealous, but it also made him uncomfortable, and in some cases, he showed deep displeasure.

Now you're here, having a little affectionate moment with Wallace in your room. Just that: hugging him, calling him pet names, and showering him with kisses. He's kissing you back. The volume of your voices is gradually increasing as the minutes pass. The problem? Your bedroom door is ajar, just enough for someone to overhear.

Damian heard about it. This caused him deep discomfort. He was bothered by the noise. He was bothered that Wallace was with you. He was bothered. Period.

For a couple of minutes, he considered simply ignoring them, pretending they were no longer his problem. But a part of him was screaming at him to intervene, to say something, to do anything.

Finally, she mustered her courage. She advanced with slow, silent steps, as if it were a great effort for her body. She stopped in front of your bedroom door and could see you both through the small gap in the half-open door. You were embracing, exchanging small kisses.

Damian froze; suddenly, his feet no longer obeyed his brain. The scene he had witnessed filled him with a horrible unease. It took him a couple of seconds to recover, then finally, he pushed the door open with a brusque movement, startling them both.

He stopped in front of you and looked at you with his arms crossed. The tension was visible in his shoulders.

"Haven't you ever heard of closing the damn door?"
