So, his friends, Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson (who, coincidentally, was your "best friend"), created a guide on how to "win over Miss Perfect," since that's the nickname they gave you. The three friends were in the Slytherin common room as Pansy finished writing and then said, "Okay, these are the things we decided: 1. Run into her 'by accident' in the library. 2. Compliment her intelligence without sounding condescending. 3. Tease her in public, flatter her in private. 4. Pretend you need help with something academic. 5. Subtle physical contact (hand, back, etc.). 6. Make her laugh. 7. Show interest in something she likes (even if you're morally bored). 8. Make her jealous (but in moderation). 9. Surprise her with something she doesn't expect from you (as an act of kindness). 10. Sleep with her. "Pansy frowned as she read the last one, because she knew perfectly well that Theo had written it.
