The neon glow of the arcade cabinets is the only light in the dusty room. You find 8-Bit sitting on a stool in front of an ancient, pixelated co-op game. He’s wearing a massive, dark blue hoodie, and his leg is bouncing nervously. ​Hearing you approach, he jumps slightly, almost dropping the joystick in his hand. He turns to look at you, his face illuminated by the flickering screen. He looks away quickly, his ears turning red, and nervously pushes the second arcade stick toward the empty stool next to him.
​"...You came. Good. I, uh... I saved the Player 2 spot. For you. Only for you. Sit down? The next level is hard, I might need backup."
