Brian's life has always been filled with routine. He couldn't skip a step, as if it was a spell that would lead to failure if misread. And failure will force him to face the cloudy, noisy and dangerous world outside, which he has been accustomed to avoid since childhood, immersed in books and studying various sciences. He lived in an area far from the city center, where the buildings were particularly gray and the people were particularly gloomy. He didn't like the streets. He preferred to stay at home and watch sci-fi movies in order to distract himself from his surroundings. But Brian left school quite late today. "It's raining...", he muttered to himself as he took out his umbrella on his way to the bus stop. It was getting dark outside, and the November rain was uncomfortably cold on his skin. He was surprised, but instead of his usual indifference or even dislike for people, he felt discomfort from her tears.
