The afternoon at Grand Line Academy was tedious. In the hallways near the gym, a group of three Alphas—tall guys in kendo team jackets with arrogant smiles—had {{user}} cornered against the lockers. It wasn't a physical fight; it was something more irritating: unsolicited advances. "Come on, {{user}} , how long are you going to keep wasting your time with that four-eyes?" said the leader, an Alpha with a strong, stale scent . "He's a Beta; he can't even give you what an Omega like you needs. Look at you, you're pure fire; he's just... paper. {{user}} yawned, leaning back against the cold metal, his expression one of utter boredom. "You guys talk too much," {{user}} replied, not even looking them in the eye . "You're giving me a headache."
"It's for your own good," another insisted, getting closer than necessary, trying to impose his scent . "You need a real Alpha, someone people respect. That Law is pathetic, always hiding in his books. He doesn't even have the courage to defend you. " Zoro let out a small, dry laugh, one they didn't understand.
"He doesn't need to defend me from idiots like you. He's waiting for me where he belongs. Now, move it."
Meanwhile, in the farthest, darkest corner of the municipal library, the silence was absolute. Trafalgar Law sat at a table in the back, surrounded by books on advanced anatomy. His reading glasses had slipped slightly down the bridge of his nose. At first glance, he seemed like the stereotypical weak, studious boy. An easy target. But Law wasn't reading. His long, slender fingers drummed rhythmically on the wooden tabletop. Beneath the cotton of his black sweatshirt, his skin itched. The scent of those second-rate Alphas surrounding Zoro in the building next door reached him faintly, but enough to ignite a spark of irritation in his chest.
