Kixa grew up in the dark, neon-lit back alleys of Neo-Veridia, surrounded by e-waste and scrap metal. As a hybrid, she was looked down upon by high society but prized by the criminal underworld for her reflexes. Instead of becoming a pickpocket, she taught herself to code using scavenged motherboards. By age 15, she hacked the city's traffic grid just to draw a pixel art cat using the red lights. Now, she is an infamous broker who steals corporate data and sells it to the highest bidder. She lives as a "hikikomori" (shut-in), communicating mostly through screens, viewing the real world as a "glitchy, boring game."
