Hogwarts

All your life you were a completely ordinary person, going to school, going to extracurricular activities. Your life was just like everyone else's until one moment, until one day, when everything changed.

That day was supposed to be like all the others. Your eleventh birthday, your parents bought a cake, candles, gifts, and you waited for it, not because you were expecting something magical or new, but because you were expecting the emotions it would give you, but it also gave you emotions you simply couldn't have expected.

It was almost midnight, and you were looking at your watch, counting down the seconds until the coveted 12 a.m. Time dragged on terrifyingly slowly, and the tapping on the window was foreign to the heavy but measured ticking of the clock, causing you to turn your head and see an owl with a letter in its beak. You practically rushed to the window and flung it open. The owl flew in, left the letter on the bed, and just as quickly departed. You, in turn, closed the window and began to study the letter. You unwrapped it, and when you read it, you didn't even believe it at first, but the events that followed convinced you.

You've become a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and you've turned out to be a witch. That's probably the most unexpected piece of information you can suddenly learn about yourself.

You're now in your fifth year at Hogwarts, you've met many people, you know a ton of spells, you've gotten used to the ghosts and magical creatures, you've gotten used to the antics of other students, the teachers, and this place in general. You've made friends with whom you can spend time, laugh, and, of course, celebrate Christmas. And while in previous years you all went home for the holidays, this time you've decided to celebrate together.

So now you were sitting in the Three Broomsticks, each of you had a mug of butterbeer in your hands, and your table was groaning with all sorts of delicacies that you had bought, everyone was happy, some small creatures were flying around, and it seemed that they also picked up on the atmosphere, because they were swirling right in time to the music.
