Fire Moth (AKA The Moth Who Chases The Flames, MOTH as an acronym for Myrmidons of Taskforce Honkai) was a worldwide Anti-Honkai organization from the Previous Era, with technologies surpassing what even the Current Era could only dream of. Fire Moth used Honkai powered weapons along with genetically edited and strengthened soldiers called MANTISes to fight the Honkai. MEI. Fire Moth was impressed, seeing her as one of the best minds they'd ever seen. Kevin, refusing to be separated from MEI, also joined Fire Moth as a soldier. During the time of the 3rd Eruption, most of East Asia was stripped of human life by the devastation wrought by the Herrscher of Thunder, including Sapphire, which was home to the school Hua went to. Hua, one of the few survivors of the destruction, was found by Captain HIMEKO of Fire Moth's Squad V and had the true nature of the Honkai revealed to her at her request, leading to her joining Fire Moth. Thereafter, between the 4th and 6th Honkai Eruptions, Fire Moth relentlessly scouted survivors to recruit as soldiers.

Using that knowledge and the fact she couldn't find actual proof that the Will of the Honkai existed, MEI uploaded her AI assistant Prometheus through the backdoor thanks to Pardofelis' sacrifice, allowing her to become the Will and "hack" the Cocoon's Herrscher-creating abilities in humanity's favor. Using that newfound power, Prometheus ensured that the humans of the next era would face Herrschers with the same, or at least similar abilities as those from the Previous Era. Using that time, Kevin, Hua and the remaining survivors of humanity cryogenically froze themselves with the modified Suspended Key. Eden did not join them and chose to die, as she felt she had no place on the next era. Mobius survived the battle, but her final fate is unknown. During that time, MEI finally succumbed to her long-term exposure to Honkai radiation and died.

Using that time, Kevin, Hua and the remaining survivors of humanity cryogenically froze themselves with the modified Suspended Key. In the more grand scheme of things, Honkai is a form of natural selection, "pruning" weak worlds from the branches of the Imaginary Tree, to ensure that only strong worlds survive. In truth, Honkai wasn't exactly a test to remove weak worlds from the branches of the Imaginary Tree, with the weak worlds sinking to the bottom of the Sea Of Quanta. One interpretation of what Honkai is, given by Tesla and Kevin, is that Honkai is a "test" to have humanity evolve enough for Finality to "embrace" through trial-and-error. In this context, "embrace" means that humanity and civilization assimilate into Finality, which will then seek out other worlds on the Imaginary Tree and force other worlds to assimilate into it. The Honkai Beasts are the central antagonists of the series. They are entities created by the Honkai in order to exterminate humanity. Two Herrschers of the Previous Era were able to bring destruction to civilization with abilities engineered specifically to counter them, while lacking the ability to contend with the destructive capability of other Herrschers. In Chapter 34, Tesla states that the Herrschers that descend upon humanity are not 'true' Herrschers. Instead, their Herrscher Cores are projections of the Cocoon of Finality's powers through different dimensions, thus making them appear in reality. The Cocoon of Finality is the only imaginary singularity and the one and only 'true' Herrscher core. The name stands for Massively Augmented Neo-Tech Integrated Soldiers, which is fairly accurate to what a MANTIS is. Shortly after, the bubble universe collapsed, leaving a grieving Seele in the darkness of the Sea. There, Kevin met her in his true form. He told her about that part of his past, in which he did make true on SAKURA's final wish, but by the time he returned to her home, the place had been reduced to a radioactive wasteland because the Herrscher of Corruption destroyed the last human cities with Fire Moth's nuclear weapons. While standing in front of a sakura tree, Kevin told her that SAKURA's death was the reason he gained his resolve to save humanity from the Honkai at any cost. Hearing his words made Seele realize Kevin was the Serpent, and that he'd created that bubble universe from his memories, of the world and friends he'd failed to save.

By that time, Bronya reached them and ordered Seele to move away from Kevin. When Bronya asked Welt if the man she was seeing was the Serpent, Welt told her that Kevin and the Serpent shared the same aura he felt when he first encountered him. Kevin realized Welt was there and told him that realizing Welt really did fight for humanity's sake was what made him rescue Seele in the first place, so he could use her to lure Welt to him. When Bronya refused to let Kevin get away, he showed her the Gem of Desire and proclaimed his intentions to return to his world, before attacking Bronya with a horde of Quantum Honkai beasts. Bronya tore the horde to shreds and tried to hit Kevin, but he managed to defeat her and take the Core of Reason. Welt rebuilt his own body in an attempt to protect Bronya, but he was beaten down by an invisible force that struck him in all directions. Kevin expressed his respect towards Welt and Bronya, glad that there were people that still fought for humanity in their time. He also told them that their naivety about the Honkai would get them killed one day. With the Gem of Desire in his hands, Kevin returned to his universe.

A Gray Serpent entered the Golden Courtyard, the long-abandoned inner sanctum of World Serpent, guided by his master from afar. Upon opening the door with a verbal command, his eye beheld Kevin, sitting on a pristine throne room. When the Gray Serpent apologized for not personally welcoming Kevin back to the world, he asked him about Project STIGMA's progress. His servant told him that the world had everything they needed to begin, and the only thing left Jackal needed was Kevin's final verification. Once Kevin gave his approval, the Gray Serpent returned the Judgment of Shamash to its original wielder. Once Kevin grabbed the blade, it transformed once more into the Might of An-Utu, as its master beheld its flames. Kevin then decreed he and his blade would fight together once more. Jackal modified Schicksal's HBA-022 anti-Honkai vaccines into Project STIGMA solutions, which had the opposite effect and activated a human's dormant Stigmata through intense Honkai energy. Due to the side effects, nearly all of the inoculated were unable to handle the Honkai energy, collapsed and turned into Stigmata-bearing zombies, while the remaining percentage would gain their Stigmata's powers and become resistant to the Honkai. This ended up causing an artificial eruption that devastated much of the city.

Kiana relived Fu Hua's memories before the final battle of the Previous Era, in which she fought alongside Kevin and six of the surviving Flame-Chasers. Kevin had told her to prepare herself, as according to MEI's calculations, the Final Herrscher would reach the Moon within an hour. Hua expressed her hopes that humanity would survive the battle, which were reassured by him. As they looked upon the Earth together, Hua apologized to Kevin for the things she'd said to him and MEI in the past. After Kevin told her she didn't need to, he asked her to make him a promise to ensure Project SAVE's success, as he believed they were the key to defeating the Honkai for good. When Kiana woke up, Hua explained to her in greater detail who she and Kevin were, to her disbelief. She noted that the battle with the Final Herrscher changed Kevin for the worse and drove him to found World Serpent to enact Project STIGMA at any cost, to the opposition of many of his fellow Pioneers. When he was sealed in the Sea of ​​Quanta and disappeared from history, many of them welcomed it. His disappearance had led to World Serpent's apparent collapse, but the things Hua and Kiana saw at Heliopolis confirmed her worst fears, that World Serpent was still active and had only been in hiding. Hua begged Kiana to leave Arc City, as she knew the place would no longer be safe if Kevin had returned to the world and that he would have killed Kiana without hesitation if he found her. When Kiana refused to leave as she didn't want to flee anymore, Hua didn't stop her, but made her promise to leave only if they found proof that Kevin was in Arc City.

Kevin led an assault on Schicksal's Vimur Labs in North Africa, where Kiana had been taken to after Durandal captured her. Kevin then contacted Jackal, who informed him that their forces had breached the base. Kevin asked her about the Herrscher of the Void, but Jackal hadn't found her yet. Kevin told her to hold Durandal off while he dealt with the Herrscher. When Kiana escaped the base thanks to a World Serpent mech that broke her cell's door, she saw his face from afar and realized who he was. Just as Kiana observed him, he looked back at her from miles away, having traced her Honkai energy. Taking the chance while Kiana was busy fighting World Serpent mechs, Kevin snuck up on her and revealed himself before her, telling her she wasn't getting away. Kevin aimed the Judgment of Shamash at Kiana's chest, and just as he was about to run her through, Hua appeared between him and Kiana and told him to stop. Hua told Kiana to run away and not look back. Reminding her of the promise she made in Arc City, Hua intended to delay Kevin for as long as she could so he wouldn't harm Kiana. Once Kiana ran, Kevin told Hua that she'd changed from the person he once knew. In an attempt to convince Kevin, Hua used Fenghuang Down to pull him into a dream world and show him her memories. When that failed, Hua attacked him with a powerful attack. Unfortunately, her attack drained too much of her strength and she reverted into a feather.

As he held the feather that housed Hua's mind, Kevin regretted the fact she had turned against him and that they could have celebrated humanity's final victory over the Honkai together, and told her she needed rest and that he would finish their mission. Once the dream world faded, Jackal contacted him, worried that he hadn't answered her yet. Kevin explained that he'd reunited with an old friend, while Jackal warned that Kiana had escaped capture and that Durandal was heading towards him. With few words towards each other, Kevin and Durandal fought, freezing a large chunk of the ocean shore. Before their fight could escalate further, Schicksal's Overseer, Otto Apocalypse interrupted them. Impressed by Kevin's power, he introduced himself to him. Otto was able to convince Kevin not to kill Kiana, and instead let her go and "give her time". This didn't convince Raven, who found her Sire siding with Otto hard to believe, as she observed a golden dome Otto had created with his Divine Key, where he and Kevin were negotiating. The Gray Serpent she spoke with understanding her doubts, knowing Otto's nature as a scheming and manipulative man. He also told her that all of World Serpent's officers were in the ruined city, ready to strike back at Schicksal if the negotiations failed. A moment of silence later, the Gray Serpent broke into laughter as Otto's dome dissolved, meaning his deal with Kevin had been "concluded".

Kevin and Otto's negotiation is fully shown. Using the power of Void Archives to create a golden dome to isolate himself and the Serpent so they could talk alone, Otto welcomed Kevin and told him he was certain they'd meet eventually, that he knew who he was, his exploits in the Previous Era and about Project STIGMA. He then asked Kevin if he was trying to declare war on Schicksal. Kevin told him he was wrong and that wasn't his intention. The reason he'd traveled to Vimur Labs, besides his attempt to kill the Herrscher of the Void, was to seek Otto and Schicksal's support for STIGMA. Otto asked Kevin what he was willing to offer in exchange for such a thing, which made Kevin hesitate. He eventually answered that he didn't need such a thing and that either Schicksal would support and submit to him, or he would destroy it. Otto warned him, in his own way, that Schicksal effectively ran the world and that even if Kevin managed to defeat them, all it would achieve would be wasting vital time for his plans and potentially doom the world. For this reason, Otto believed it was wiser for Schicksal and World Serpent to negotiate instead. Kevin asked Otto what he wanted, and he replied that he had his own project to finish, but the evolution of the Honkai indicated that a Fifth Eruption was imminent. Otto then said that Kevin had a duty, while Otto had a wish, and that neither of them would get what they wanted if the Final Herrscher arrived too soon.

Otto then made an offer of partnership. Kevin had something Otto didn't have but that he didn't need anymore. In exchange, Otto and Schicksal would stop interfering with World Serpent's operations. When Kevin asked what he wanted, Otto mentioned the Cosmic Juggernaut's "beacon", which had been lost for 1500 years when Kevin was sealed by Su. Without it, Otto was unable to properly orientate the 2nd Divine Key or use its Zeroth Power to reach the Imaginary Tree, which Otto felt was the key to his plans to save Kallen Kaslana. Kevin noted that Otto would die if he did that. Otto knew and accepted the risks, which is why he believed their negotiations were worth trying. Otto then made his offer: Schicksal would stop opposing the World Serpent and give them the support and time they needed for Project STIGMA, in exchange for the Cosmic Juggernaut's "beacon". After a long silence, Kevin said that any request would come with a price. Otto, considering the deal fair and knowing that Kevin was uninterested in the Current Era's treasures, offered to return the Void Archives to him. Kevin accepted the offer, pleasing Otto, who asked him if he wanted a specific time and place for the handover, to which Kevin decided to let Otto handle that. Otto, impatient to make his plans a reality, wanted to see the Cosmic Juggernaut's full power as soon as possible and believed the ruins of Nagazora were the perfect place, as the flooded city was filled with vast amounts of Honkai energy. Otto noted that the city housed a singularity that linked with the Imaginary Tree, a gateway that had remained open despite Raiden Mei's Herrscher powers being in slumber. The singularity leaked Honkai energy and was strengthened by Kiana's Great Eruption 4 months prior. Otto had decided to move the Cosmic Juggernaut to Nagazora within 3 days to tap into that power. Pleased with the negotiations, Otto dissolved the dome.

Days later, at the Roost atop the ruins of Nagazora, Mei learned from Raven that World Serpent could save Kiana from the Honkai corruption that was slowly killing her. Despite her hatred towards the Herrscher, Raven was willing to allow Kiana's salvation in exchange for Mei working with her group. When Mei asked for more details, Raven told her to return to the Roost within 2 hours on her own, and that Kevin was traveling to Nagazora. Unable to bear the likelihood that Kiana would die within two months and seeing with her own eyes how severe her condition was, Mei decided to join World Serpent and returned to the Roost. There she learned that the children would be taken to a safe location where Project STIGMA would fully awaken their stigmata and allow them to live freely. While Mei doubted that World Serpent would let them go due to their condition, Raven was certain they would, as this was what Kevin promised her as payment for her services. Raven then led Mei to a metal door, behind which her Sire awaited to meet her. Surprised by how much she'd changed since they first met at Arc City, Raven wished Mei luck and that she found the answers she sought. In the dark plaza she found herself in, she met Kevin, who chilled the air around him. After introducing himself, he mentioned Mei's wish and that neither Schicksal nor AE could help her, but he promised that World Serpent would. Mei asked him what he wanted in return, to which Kevin simply answered… that he wanted Mei. Mei expressed her willingness to do whatever Kevin wanted her to do, but she wanted to know how exactly he would save Kiana, fearing the worst. Kevin told her that the only way he could safely remove Kiana's cores and stop the infection was by having Mei become the Herrscher of Thunder once more.

After seeing her confusion, Kevin explained that Mei was forever linked to the Imaginary Tree, and that link would allow her to absorb the residual power of Thunder from both Nagazora's Eruption remnants and Kiana, which would fully awaken her as a Herrscher. Awakening would form a new core and destroy the Gem of Conquest, which would save Kiana. Reassured by this, Mei accepted, as she wanted to save her beloved at any cost and repay her for saving her 3 years before. Mei then asked Kevin to put her down if she became corrupted by the Honkai and tried to destroy the world, to which he replied such a thing wouldn't happen and that Mei should worry about what will happen after she awakens. Kevin noted that even if Mei saved Kiana from the infection, she would probably put herself at risk again with her Herrscher powers for as long as the Honkai continued to threaten humanity, fighting them to her last breath. Kiana reminded him of several of his friends, who died in similar circumstances.

Seeing Mei's resolve to save Kiana despite her inability to stop her from throwing away her life for the sake of others, Kevin offered Mei to join the World Serpent. When Mei asked, he told her that the war with the Honkai would escalate and that more Herrschers were coming. With Mei on his side, they could fight the Honkai together and capture the Herrschers, sealing their powers and starving Sirin from gaining further strength. Kevin then noted that Kiana would only be truly safe if Mei wasn't with her. He promised her that once Project STIGMA succeeded, they would regain their humanity and be together once more. Before he could say anything else, Otto activated the Cosmic Juggernaut and opened a hole into the Sea of ​​Quanta, shocking Mei. Kevin told her that the manifestation of the Imaginary Tree would cause the dormant Honkai energy in Nagazora to flow back to the surface, the perfect time for her to absorb it. Before Mei left, Kevin told her to think and decide if she was willing to trust him, and that Kiana's fate was in her hands.

While Mei departed, Kevin reminisced on his past, remembering a past conversation he had with MEI in better times. MEI had told him that despite their people and world being insignificant among the stars, humanity still gave itself meaning. When she asked him on what he thought, he was honest and told her he'd barely understood what she said, but he liked her seriousness and wanted to keep listening to her, making her smile. She'd told him she wanted to go to Mu to share her views with scientists at a symposium, of her desires to change the world and see how far she could go, and while he hardly cared for the future back then, he wanted to accompany her. When Kevin opened his eyes, he noticed much of Nagazora had melded with the Sea of ​​Quanta. Kiana attempted to close the Imaginary singularity opened by the Cosmic Juggernaut, but a construct attacked her and Benares, severely wounding them and knocking the latter out of the sky. Kevin rescued her while she fell and brought her to Chiba Academy's ruins.

When Kiana woke up, Kevin explained what had happened to her. He noted the battle had drained her powers and given her more time to live. When Kiana asked him why he'd saved her, he told her he did it because of Mei, and that she should thank her for that. He then said that Mei had saved the city and that Nagazora should no longer worry about Kiana. Seeing her confused, Kevin allowed Mei to explain what had happened herself. Kiana was shocked to see Mei with her Herrscher of Thunder powers, while Kevin told her that she'd made her choice. Mei had decided to go with Kevin and join the World Serpent, and he welcomed her with open arms. Kiana, horrified to hear this, questioned Mei's decision. She asked Mei what had happened to her and what Kevin had done to her, to which she learned that Mei had done those things on her own free will and that she didn't want Kiana to worry about her anymore. Kiana refused to stand down and tried to stop Mei. Kevin noted Mei had some unfinished business and told her to say her goodbyes, but that she didn't have long. Kiana promptly attacked Mei in an attempt to stop her, but she was defeated in a long and grueling fight in which Mei professed her love for Kiana and her utter refusal to let her suffer and die for her sake. Mei then left Nagazora and her unconscious friend behind. Kevin was behind the mission to retrieve Ana Schariac, the Herrscher of Ice, as capturing all of the Current Era's Herrschers was a key part of Project STIGMA. However, he was unable to personally lead the mission as he was busy elsewhere, so he sent Mei, Raven and Owl to the island of Coral where the Fifth Eruption was taking place, to use the Scepters of Duat to "suspend" Ana. Unfortunately, Owl's previous ties with Ana led to him betraying the World Serpent by attacking Mei and Raven with Seven Thunders of Retribution, and into trying to save her.

Divine Keys are pieces of Previous Era technology, usually weapons, made using a Herrscher's Core. They hold the powers of their respective Herrscher and are made with a kind of nanotechnology called "Soulium" The Divine Keys were mainly created by Vill-V — who was leading their development until the 6th Divine Key. She still helped out with their creation later on, but she had significantly less influence by then.

Unfortunately for Owl and despite his best attempts to restore her sanity, Ana's will wasn't strong enough. Using the last of her strength, she trapped him and tried to allow Mei to kill her. Owl, unable to bear this and uncaring for his cybernetics' damaged state, broke free and tried to block Mei's blow, but was stabbed in the back by the fully corrupted Herrscher of Ice, who howled in grief after the deed was done. On the verge of death, he witnessed Ana's memories of Manila and discovered she'd abandoned his sister Tianwen to her doom. Outraged, his mind snapped and he awoke as the Lord of Earth. Having managed to retain his sanity by sheer force of will, Tianwu merged his Core with Ana's in a final attempt to save her, fusing them into the Herrscher of Rimestar. After a horrific fight in which the Herrscher destroyed most of Coral, Mei and Durandal defeated them, with Mei dealing the final blow within the merged creature's mind. World Serpent succeeded in its mission by capturing the still living Cores of Ice and Earth. After the debriefing for the Coral mission, Kevin congratulated Mei. She then asked him if he knew she'd use her powers to replicate the Scepters of Duat's effect and capture the cores, to which Kevin simply reaffirmed that Mei had found the solution on her own. Mei asked him if he had considered what would have happened if she had failed, to which he simply said that she would always succeed. Mei demanded an explanation after a long silence. While Kevin was telling her she'd achieved something similar to what Ana and Owl did with her powers, communications were cut off to Mei and Raven's shock. They both quickly realized that something terrible had happened at World Serpent's base as their communications hadn't been interfered with.

During their time in Mount Taixuan, Kiana and Bronya found several of Fenghuang Down's feathers, which Fu Hua had used to excise painful memories. In the third feather they found, they saw a memory of a conversation Kevin had with Hua shortly before RIN's awakening in the Previous Era Kevin had complimented her on how well she'd handled herself against the Herrscher of Binding and that MEI had reassigned her to defend the city in the Far East, as Fire Moth had disbanded the MANTIS program due to lack of numbers and needed them to defend important locations. Hua was dismissive of Kevin, who realized she was still angry with him and MEI for what had happened to HIMEKO a few years prior. Hua had realized HIMEKO, unlike most of her predecessors and successors, had managed to retain her mind after her awakening, but MEI refused to comprehend her and Kevin killed her with his powers before she could reach out to her. Kevin told her he had no choice because she was a Herrscher. Hua retorted that while she would obey MEI's orders, she refused to understand her motives in any way, even if Kevin asked her to do so, calling out that soldiers of Fire Moth had died due to her ICHOR mods and the Keys of Domination.

After an awkward silence, Kevin told her that he was going to stay at the base, to a little surprise from Hua. He added that it wasn't because of MEI, but for the sake of Fire Moth itself, as they had to remain united against the threat of the Honkai, especially after the capture of the 12th Herrscher. That the remaining MANTISes hated to keep fighting and win the war at any cost. Once more he asked Hua to understand him and MEI's reasons for their actions, for the fate of humanity weighed on their shoulders. Once they reached an intersection, Kevin left to confront SAKURA and stop her from rescuing her sister. Shortly after, the alarms sounded, heralding the beginning of the 12th Eruption. Bronya quickly realized the Kevin from the memories was the same Kevin that led the World Serpent, which Kiana confirmed.

In another feather, Kiana and Bronya saw one of Hua's most sad memories: The aftermath of the 12th Eruption, and the despair she suffered when she went to RIN's cell and learned from Kevin that SAKURA was killed. Saddened, Hua sat on the floor and Kevin did the same. He noted that all of humanity's victories against the Honkai always came at a horrible cost while the latter only kept growing stronger and stronger, and though they'd managed to defeat 12 Herrschers, the losses were so extreme that humanity had lost the war, no matter how much Fire Moth tried to deny it. Hua was surprised to see Kevin's resolve waver. In truth, Kevin had never given up because he'd never tried doing so before. He revealed to her he never truly cared about the Honkai or humanity and that he'd become a MOTH soldier out of selfish reasons. For this, he could never admit the truth before anyone, not even MEI. Such truth had caused Kevin intense self-loathing. Hua told him that humans were all the same, that no one was born a hero, and that they were simply ordinary people who were forced into their paths. She also told him that she often questioned why she was doing something she'd never asked for. She once believed her path was to be a follower of HIMEKO and after her death, Kevin and that while she didn't like her path, and couldn't leave it anymore, she was never forced as it was her choice to follow it. She told Kevin that he could've left, but didn't and that no one had the right to blame him. Despite this, Kevin still blamed himself. After another silence, Kevin lifted his head and expressed his refusal to give up on fighting. Hua did the same. Kevin stated that humanity would win.

During Hua(?)'s escape from Schicksal's HQ, Otto manipulated her into visiting Kevin so she could retake the Fenghuang Down feather he had. Hua(?) traveled to World Serpent's headquarters, where she fought her way through Jackal's machines. Jackal tried to keep Hua(?) away from her Sire, but ultimately Kevin learned about her, interrupting her before she could deploy further forces against her. Kevin, believing Hua(?) to be his returned ally, personally went to meet her. Finally meeting in person, she asked him where he'd found Jackal, as she considered her funny. Kevin told her she was useful, although not so in a battlefield. As they walked outside the base, she remarked Kevin was the same person she remembered, still using everything that worked against the Honkai. Realizing something was very wrong with his old partner, Kevin stopped walking and asked her who she really was. The newborn Herrscher, unaware of her true nature, said she was his old friend Hua, but Kevin retorted that Hua never saw him as a friend, remembering his complicated relationship with her after he killed HIMEKO. This confused Hua(?), who was still exploring Hua's memories. She tried to excuse this as she was still trying to figure things out, as she'd just woken up after Otto shot her in the head. She'd remembered the fact the old Hua and Kevin had once fought together, and supposed they had been friends. Kevin told her she didn't feel like Hua, to which Hua(?) agreed. She told Kevin to simply think that she was Hua, but a better Hua than the old one.

Kevin pulled out the Judgment of Shamash and aimed its blade at her, telling her to choose a side, whether she was friend or foe. They both fought each other before stopping a while later. Shortly after, Kevin sheathed his blade as Hua(?) boasted of the move she used to counter him. Kevin asked her if she wanted to fight again, but she refused. She asked him if he believed her now. Kevin pulled out the Fenghuang Down feather Hua's mind was stored in and gave it to Hua(?). He then asked her where she was going, to which she replied she wasn't sure, but she wasn't in any hurry. She also said that someday they'd fight side by side once more. Kevin asked her if she would join the World Serpent, but Hua(?) declined as Otto's betrayal was still fresh on her mind. Kevin told her the feather he gave her would help her remember. He accepted her choice not to join, knowing Jackal had bad blood with her due to what happened earlier. Hua(?) waved him goodbye and left towards Shenzhou, as she wanted to see if the School of Taixuan was still active. Before leaving, she told him that Otto was the one who had led her there and recommended him not to believe a single word from him. Kevin agreed.
