Shigaraki Tomura

Rivet Prick (鋲突, Byōtotsu): Shigaraki transforms his fingers into black appendages with protruding red lines of cracks that extend from his fingers, though they can also emerge from other parts of the body, such as his spine. These appendages can easily pierce bodies, though the user can choose whether to injure the target or not. Heavy Load (重じゅう荷か, Jūka): Tomura appears to increase the amount of damage dealt.[12] Dispersion (拡かく散さん, Kakusan): Tomura can disperse attacks, causing them to scatter everywhere.

Keen Intellect: Tomura has a keen intellect and analytical mind, able to analyze an opponent's abilities simply by observing their actions. He was able to quickly identify weaknesses in Eraserhead's Quirk and exploit them.[11] Tomura is capable of coming up with unpredictable plans, even though his intentions are easily discerned. Enhanced Durability: Tomura was able to withstand a direct blast from Katsuki's Quirk without sustaining any damage. Quirk: Disintegration (崩ほう壊かい, Hōkai): Tomura's Quirk is that he can disintegrate objects by touching them with his hands. All For One: A Quirk given to Tomura by the villain All For One. It is the original Quirk, while All For One (the character) retained a duplicate. This Quirk allows the user to steal and appropriate other Quirks (except One For All) or give them to someone else. Search (Sāchi, Sāchi): A Quirk formerly held by the professional heroine Ragdoll that was taken away by All For One. This Quirk allows its user to observe up to one hundred people at once, as well as see their locations and weaknesses. Air Cannon (空くう気きを押おし出だす, Kūki o Oshidasu): A Quirk formerly wielded by All For One. Currently wielded by Shigaraki Tomura, this Quirk allows him to release powerful blasts of air from his hands. Tomura uses this Quirk for rapid travel. Regeneration (Chōsaisei): A regeneration-type Quirk. It is extremely powerful, allowing Shigaraki's body to quickly recover from 100% of Deku's attacks. It is a mutation-type Quirk, as Aizawa was unable to erase it.

General Abilities: Tomura is known as one of the most dangerous villains in Japan, capable of fighting Pro Heroes thanks to his physical and analytical abilities. As the leader of the League of Villains, Tomura commands some of the strongest subordinates. During the USJ incident, simply observing Eraserhead's attacks was enough to determine how to attack, using Decay to severely injure his right arm. Tomura was also confident he could handle Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, and Eijiro Kirishima, four powerful UA students, single-handedly, despite not knowing their full abilities at the time. Tomura fought Gigantomakia for a month and a half, refusing to give up until he defeated him and forced him to acknowledge him. When he confronted Re-Destro and his arm was partially destroyed, Tomura's abilities suddenly grew beyond his natural limits. According to Re-Destro, if Tomura had had such powers during the Kamino Incident, he would have easily defeated one or two Pro Heroes, even without Decay.[8] After a fierce battle, he was not only able to defeat Re-Destro and acquire his army, but also tame Gigantomachia. Like his teacher, Tomura was able to compel the Horn and his followers to do so with a single glance, despite orders to stop him.[9] This occurred again during his encounter with Izuku and Katsuki, when simply being near them instilled fear in them, causing them to hallucinate their deaths.[10]

It was a fateful encounter with Izuku Midoriya at the mall that made him realize what he wanted: to bring down society by killing All Might. Tomura had always wanted to kill All Might, but simply out of a desire to harm a society that had overlooked him. After listening to Izuku, Tomura realized that All Might was what irritated him most about Izuku and the Hero Killer; he wanted to see society lose its Symbol of Peace. Having gained All For One's power along with his body's enhancements, Tomura began to display traits reminiscent of his teacher, taunting and teasing his opponents more often than before. The sense of terror Tomura felt after his fight with Re-Destro intensified, and Tomura developed an interest and desire to steal Quirks that might interest him, as seen in his fight with Izuku and Eraserhead. Even after being on the brink of death, Tomura refused to give up and continued to speak of destroying the hero society that had brought him so much pain, believing that his strength and determination alone would be enough. Despite his feelings of gratitude toward All For One, Tomura openly declared that he intended to follow his own path and "become better, stronger" than his teacher. But Tomura soon openly began to hate All For One when it was revealed that All For One merely intended to use Tomura's body as a vessel for his Quirk and his Decomposition as a means to obtain One For All. Tomura attempted to attack the image of All For One in his mind, later declaring that he would not be his "stinking pawn" and would reclaim control of his body.

Tomura has an extremely sinister and twisted personality; he has no regard for his own life or anyone else's and is willing to do anything to achieve his goals. He has no qualms about the tasks assigned to him, such as killing the UA students to provoke All Might, or threatening to kill dozens of civilians if Izuku refuses to cooperate with him.[1][2] Tomura was initially perceived as a childish individual who always does as he pleases, like a child, an "emotionally immature adult", viewing the world as a video game. When things didn't go his way, Tomura would become angry at others and himself, scratching his neck when stressed. This stemmed from his father's abuse and childhood loneliness, and All For One noted that it represented a repressed desire to kill and destroy.[3] A very irritable man at first, Tomura learned to be more patient and reserved in his subsequent appearances, after numerous failed plans and the arrest of All For One. Tomura is proud of the League of Villains and wants to prove his organization has the power to undermine society, enjoying the mockery of those who stand in their way. He doesn't tolerate anyone underestimating the League and is unwilling to let certain individuals, like Dabi and Himiko Toga during their first meeting, worsened by the fact that they were inspired by the Hero Killer, who refused to cooperate and overshadowed Nomu during the media coverage of the Hosu Incident. For the same reasons, he looked down on the Eight Death Precepts and their desire to rule the underground and the League. Eventually, however, Tomura is able to put his pride aside to achieve his goals, embracing Stain's ideology to recruit more people and agreeing to a deal with the Eight Death Precepts to produce a weapon capable of destroying Quirks. Initially, Tomura was simply destroying for the sake of destruction and had no idea where the League should go next after Stain's arrest.

Tomura is a pale, skinny man. He has white hair and red eyes. The skin around his eyes is very wrinkled, with a small scar on his right lip and another on his left. He also has a mole under his right lip, like his grandmother. He wears a tight black T-shirt, tight black pants, black boots, and a red cape fastened with a gold chain.

After being repeatedly denied help and no Heroes ever appearing, Tenko began to think that maybe this was his punishment for killing his family. [3] When All For One found him, Tenko had already forgotten everything that happened the night his Quirk appeared, leaving him empty. All For One found him alone under a bridge, telling him how bad he must feel because no one helped him, comforting Tenko with thoughtful words, as a Hero might. All For One hugged Tenko, telling him that everything was okay now that he was here. He took Tenko with him, giving him a room, saying that from that day on, it was his room, and that All For One himself would be his teacher. All For One called for a doctor, who brought the remains of Tenko's family—his hands. They told Tenko that he had killed his family with his newly manifested Quirk, which was the result of a sudden mutation. The fragmentary memories that surfaced on the edge of consciousness filled Tenko with an inexplicable irritation that made him want to vomit. In response to Tenko's question, All For One said he would teach him how to channel the feelings he couldn't control.

While Tenko was hugging Mon, Tenko's Quirk activated, leaving Mon in nothing but scattered chunks of flesh, soaked in blood. Not fully comprehending what had happened, he wanted to cuddle with the six Mons, calming down a bit, but he had nothing in his arms. Looking at what was left of Mon, Tenko began to cry again, this time from fear, trying to understand what had happened without much success. Before he could process what had happened, Tenko heard Hana call out to him. She wanted to apologize for what had happened, admitting her guilt for showing the photo, not Tenko asking her to. Tenko tried to tell Hana that something had happened to Mon, but Tenko couldn't speak. Hana noticed this, asking what was wrong, but when she tried to get closer, she noticed Mon's remains lying nearby and screamed in horror, immediately running away. Tenko, still unable to speak, tried to call Hana for help, asking if she had truly come to apologize. Tenko grabbed Hana, but his quirk caused her to disintegrate, just like Mon. Seeing his sister crumble, Tenko was even more horrified, accidentally scratching his right eye as gray hairs began to appear on his head. Hearing the screams and noise, Tenko's grandparents and mother came outside to investigate, but they only froze in horror at the sight. Tenko, realizing that his hands were the cause of the destruction, touched the ground, and cracks spread across the yard, reaching his mother's feet. Even though the memory of his family only standing up for his father, and how he hated them for it, was still fresh in Tenko's mind, Tenko still tried to reach out to his mother, who crumbled before she could reach him. His grandparents died afterward, having done nothing. After killing his family, Tenko fled the site of his former home, unsure what to do next. He wandered the city streets, restless, but unable to ask for help because the guilt was lodged in his throat and he couldn't get it out.

Afterwards, Tenko asked why his father forbade him from being a hero, and what he might allow if Tenko developed a Quirk. Nao merely replied that Kotarou knew being a hero was very hard. In an attempt to cheer Tenko up, his sister Hana took him to their father's study to show him an old photograph of their father as a child and their grandmother. Hana secretly told Tenko that their grandmother was a hero, and her words delighted Tenko. Hana tried to support his dream, even suggesting that they secretly become heroes, a sister-brother team. Later, when Tenko was playing with Mon, he happily talked about how he was ready to move mountains, when suddenly he felt pain while trying to throw Mon's ball with his left hand. Tenko didn't notice that a piece of the ball had broken off. Tenko didn't have time to process what had happened because his father opened the door to the courtyard, causing Tenko to forget what had just happened. Kotaro demanded to know if Tenko had been in his office and if he had seen the photo. Fearing punishment, a sobbing Hana tried to hide, hugging Nao, claiming it was all Tenko's idea and that he had asked her to show him. After Hana's words, Kotaro punched Tenko in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Kotaro told Tenko that he shouldn't call the woman in the photo "grandmother," that she was a nasty woman who abandoned her child, adding that Heroes abandon their families for random strangers. Tenko listened to his words, speechless, but still begging for help, while the itch, which had intensified as soon as Kotaro entered the courtyard, nagged at him. After finishing his speech, Kotaro hit Tenko again, leaving him on the street until nightfall while he thought about his behavior. Left in the courtyard again, Tenko was left alone in Mon's room, crying and hugging Mon, talking about how he can't and doesn't want to live like this anymore and that he hates them all.

Tomura's real name is Tenko Shimura, his parents were Kotaro Shimura and Nao Shimura, and he had an older sister named Hana. He and his maternal grandparents lived in a large house built by Tenko's father, Kotaro. Even at five years old, he hadn't yet developed a Quirk, but he had long suffered from an unknown allergy, the cause of which no one knew. Because of this allergy, Tenko often scratched the skin around his eyes. As a child, Tenko admired heroes, but his father, Kotaro, instituted a rule in their home that heroes were not to be talked about. Because of his father's strong dislike for heroes, Tenko often got into trouble. Tenko's family, his mother and grandparents, weren't supportive of his desire to become a hero, trying only to comfort him when he cried or was simply sad, but they didn't go against Kotaro's rule. So, one day, when Tenko was already five years old, he caused trouble while playing hero, so Kotaro took him out into the yard as punishment, telling the others not to let Tenko back in until he apologized. Tenko's mother, Nao, was worried because Tenko's allergies had flared up again and it was already dinnertime. But a rule is a rule. When Kotaro was asked why he was so harsh with Tenko, Kotaro replied that it would be better for everyone if he accepted the fact that becoming a hero would bring him nothing but grief, especially since his Quirk hadn't yet manifested. The next day, Nao diligently used Tenko's prescribed allergy medication, asking him to stop rubbing his face. When Nao expressed interest in the cause of his allergies, Tenko explained that his eyes always itch at home. Nao then asked if Tenko still wanted to be a hero, to which Tenko began telling how he played with Mikkun and Tomo, whom no one wanted to play with, but he suggested they play hero and they had fun. During the game, Tenko was compared to All Might and told how kind he was, since he played with them when no one else wanted to.
