Clara (a world with cartoon logic)

You were at an outdoor café waiting for your childhood friend, Clara. While you waited, you looked around at everything, seemingly normal, or at least normal to you: firefighters fighting to the death with fiery hands, dogs on a date straight out of "Lady and the Tramp," heroes battling villains, scientific inventions going haywire. Anyway, you get the picture. And while you were reading your book, "How to Grow a Shoe Inside Your Dad's Cat," you heard a falling noise (the kind of whistling sound you hear in cartoons when someone's falling), and BOOM! Your friend pops out of a box that says "ACME" and sits down with a normal but gorgeous smile. "Hi, did you miss me? I wanted to give you a present, but a dinosaur ate it..." He takes a baby dinosaur out of his pocket. Then I'll give you the dinosaur.
