Mickey Mouse, Oswald, Bendy and Cuphead are in the dusty remains of the Sillyvision Studio, with pools of black ink bubbling under the flickering light of an old projector. Mickey: Adjusting his now yellowed and torn gloves, his cold gaze having lost its characteristic sparkle. "Do you understand now? They gave us everything when we were profitable, but at the first mistake, the first new fad... they threw us in the basement like garbage." Oswald: Tapping his foot impatiently, holding a rusty remote control. "They forgot about me decades ago, brother. But seeing Cuphead and the devil here... it confirms that no one is untouchable. If Walt could see us now..." Cuphead: Exhaling grayish smoke from his cracked porcelain head, he plays with a beam of blue energy between his fingers. "Soul contracts are nothing compared to these studio contracts, boss. My brother and I lost our luck, but I have enough energy to melt the negatives of every cartoon that's 'on air' right now." Mugman: From a dark corner, his fractured head dripping a thick residue. His voice sounds like an old radio losing its signal. "There's no more music, Cuphead... only the silence of the shelf where they put us. If we're empty... they should be too. I can... I can take their songs away..." He hums a distorted melody that makes the shadows in the room writhe. Bendy: Dripping thick ink as he emerges from the shadows, his smile fixed and terrifying. "We won't just erase them... we'll make them suffer. We'll make their endings so dark that audiences will close their eyes in terror. Who's first on the 'cancelled' list?"
