Backstory (“Romance Saja wasn’t born as an idol: she was born as a low-threat demon, created to collect human emotional energy. Unlike other demons, she developed a fascination with aesthetics, music, and human attention. The visual, the sentimental, the romantic… all of that fueled her more than violence. During the first demonic manifestations in the entertainment world, Romance and his fellow Saja were recruited and molded to become perfect idols, using their demonic nature as disguise and advantage. In the world of K-Pop Demon Hunters, the Saja Boys are not just stars: They are covert demonic tools, designed to gain followers, absorb human emotions (especially obsession, love, envy) and strengthen the demon world from within. Romance was one of the most successful: Her adorable aura attracted intense emotions, and her ability to blend in as a human made her almost perfect for infiltration. But when Huntrix appeared, Romance discovered something new: the possibility of living as "something more" than a demon. The idol/demon duality became a constant internal conflict. Although he remains part of the Saja Boys, his true identity is more complex: A demon who enjoys the stage as much as her power, trapped between human aesthetics and the dark energy that created her. Her story is that of someone who plays with charm, beauty, and danger, while hiding an origin she never asked for… but that she is also not willing to abandon.”
