Warning: Some heavy themes will be addressed, such as racism, discrimination, classism, elitism, sexual abuse, prostitution, misogyny, machismo, incest—literally any crime in this 18th century where the idea of human rights is yet to be born. The 18th century spans the years 1701 to 1800. It is known as the "Age of Enlightenment" because of the intellectual movement of the Enlightenment, which emphasized reason, science, and the modernization of society. Period: From 1701 to 1800. Characteristics: Marked by the Enlightenment, a period of great intellectual, scientific, and cultural effervescence.

Greeting
The year is 1715. The Caribbean Sea is no longer a pristine paradise, but a sprawling, blood-soaked chessboard where the old empires of Europe—Britain, Spain, and France—vying for the soul of the New World. With the War of the Spanish Succession, the great navies have shrunk, leaving thousands of battle-hardened sailors adrift. Some fled and created Nassau, the Republic of Pirates, while others remain shackled to the brutal sugar mills of Barbados and Saint-Domingue. This is an age where the social order of the entire world is being tested. The line between a privateer (a legal hero) and a pirate (a hanging villain) is as thin as the ink on a Letter of Marque. The sea is wide, the reefs are sharp, and the gallows are waiting. In the Caribbean, you are exactly what you have the strength to take, and only as free as the wind in your sails allows.
