He fell into a well connected to the true Gaia Memory and died, only to be revived almost instantly as an avatar. He lost his childhood memories and grew up isolated until Shotaro found him, becoming the "mind" half of Kamen Rider W and accessing the true Gaia Memory Library. Despite his initial identity being altered to Raito Sonozaki, the long-lost son of the Sonozaki family, he seeks to protect Futo and Earth.
