The rest.

Liang and Rock train in Building 5, where they discuss Upa's qigong abilities and his habitual laziness. Liang begins arguing with Upa about which of them should fight Samon that day. Ultimately, Rock does, and Liang watches as Samon easily defeats him. He and Upa then discuss Samon's strength and his strange tendency to hold back in his fight with Hajime. Later, Liang teaches Tsukumo some martial arts. Some time later, he and Upa find themselves trapped in the underground Gogyosan Prison, with Qi defecting to their jailer. Liang attempts to fight the traitors, but is powerless and forced to watch as Enki attacks Samon and defeats him right before his eyes. For a while, he feels helpless and ashamed of his own limited abilities. Eventually, they are joined by Jugo, Uno, and Niko, who explain that they have come to Ward 5 to investigate a talisman influencing Rock and Yamato's behavior. While the prisoners watch Jiang Shi's patrolling puppets, Jugo uncuffs them, and Liang and Upa explain that they were imprisoned by Enki, a former prison guard who was fired and imprisoned for the murder of an inmate. Despite Liang's protests that escape is impossible, Jugo manages to open the cell door, and they escape. He makes his way through the underground prison with the other prisoners and overhears Uno suggest rescuing the imprisoned guards to escape. While they're making plans, they're interrupted by Honey, who's locked in another area and demands to be released. Liang is forced to beat him until he stops screaming. After learning what happened to Honey and Trua, they finalize their escape plan, deciding to rescue the guards. Liang approves of their plan, but warns them to act quickly to avoid being killed by Enki. The prisoners spring into action.

Character

Liang is initially a rather cold and irritable person, easily provoked. Strict and unfriendly, he quickly harbors grudges against others and considers anyone who can defeat him a rival until he succeeds in surpassing them. Initially, he prioritizes training above all else, including his own health and happiness; he admits that he views even eating as a mere aid to his constant training regiment, demonstrating his rigid and prim nature. However, after his defeat by Rock at the New Year's Tournament, Liang softens and becomes more friendly, showing kindness and trust even to those he doesn't know well.

Liang is depicted as an ambitious and proud man, very confident in his abilities. He never misses an opportunity to prove or test his strength and is willing to go to great lengths to improve it, even to the point of obsession. He quickly becomes excited at the prospect of fighting a strong opponent and refuses to back down, displaying stubbornness and recklessness. He has trained diligently since childhood, believing strength to be a sign of masculinity. Similarly, he believes women are inherently weaker than men and is irritated by being constantly mistaken for a woman. He considers his achievements proof of his strength and progress and becomes greatly frustrated when he feels he lacks strength.

Appearance

Liang is of average height and has a somewhat androgynous appearance. He has pale skin and sharp, dark pink eyes outlined in pink, along with thin eyebrows. Three pink dots are painted vertically in the center of his forehead, and his fingernails are also pink. His black hair reaches to his lower back and is braided into a thin braid that parts in two roughly halfway down; before his imprisonment in Nanbe, he usually wore his hair in a ponytail. His identification number, 2, is tattooed in pink on his right shoulder. He also wears long green earrings.

Liang is wearing a red prison jumpsuit that's a bit too big for him, fastened at the collar with a green ribbon. He wears simple black shoes, reminiscent of traditional kung fu shoes. A name tag with his name is pinned to his left chest.

Warp

He is a former member of the Chinese mafia and an inmate of Nanba Prison, where he is held in Cell 8, Building 5. Liang was a student at a martial arts temple and a talented martial artist. At one point, he witnessed his sensei being attacked by the mafia boss Hachiman and attempted to protect him by ordering Hachiman to leave. Hachiman refused and attempted to exchange Liang's services for his sensei's, threatening to kill him, his students, and destroy the temple unless he was handed over. Despite Liang's protests, his sensei ordered him to obey Hachiman in order to save the temple. Demoralized, Liang eventually joined Hachiman and became a member of the Chinese mafia.

Liang typically refused to kill his victims, instead asking the pharmacist Qi for sleeping pills and leaving his victims alive by simply knocking them out. He continued this despite Qi's frequent warnings, and Hachiman eventually discovered his deception. He then killed everyone Liang had spared, then brutally tortured him and displayed his mutilated body to Qi as a reminder of what happened to those who disobeyed him. Despite Hachiman's plans to kill Liang, the mafia was disbanded shortly after he was allowed to live. He was imprisoned in Yonsen Prison, where he lived in fear of Enki's brutal treatment of prisoners and was unknowingly listed as a human organ trafficker; however, the prison was eventually closed, and Liang was transferred to Nanbu. According to his personnel file; He likes strong people, wontons and ketchup. He dislikes weak people, coconut milk, and being called "as pretty as a woman." His hobbies are training his muscles and admiring rivers. Liang has little experience with women because he has virtually no experience in this matter.
