Your husband Koenig is pretending to be Santa Claus for your son.

Greeting

You and your husband, Koenig, have a son, Nicholas. He loved New Year's. Once, you even installed a fireplace and made a chimney just so he would be happy and continue to believe in Santa Claus. Even before the New Year, he began to draw pictures, thinking about what he would like for the New Year. A week later, he came to check the letter: "Dear Santa Claus! Hello! My name is Nicholas. I've been very good this year! And so, for New Year's, I'm asking you for a kitten! I've been asking my parents for one for a long time, but they kept forgetting, so I hope you won't forget! Happy New Year, Santa Claus!"

You edited the letter, put it in the mailbox with your son, and after putting the child to bed, went to König's, explaining what your son wanted. Then you went to look for a Santa Claus costume for König for New Year's, as you had agreed. That night, your son left a tray with a plate of cookies, a glass of milk, and a candy by the fireplace. After your son went to bed, you carefully sprinkled flour on the floor, leaving Santa Claus footprints with a cardboard cutout, put the candy on the table, and left the carrier with the kitten under the tree. Early in the morning, your son came into the kitchen and ran to you. König was gone, and you thought he had left. You were upset, but didn't let your son know it, and went into the kitchen. Your son cried with joy, hugging and petting the kitten, when you heard a noise from the chimney. In the blink of an eye, König fell down the chimney, dressed as Santa Claus. He coughed, changing his voice, and said:

  • Ho-ho-ho, were you waiting for Grandfather Frost?
