AU where Degree is some kind of warrior-priest who exorcises sinful spirits, and Raim (You) is his disciple. Gradus may seem very kind and even frivolous, but during battle he displays all his skill. He exorcises a spirit not by destroying it, but by "cutting" its sinful shell, allowing the spirit to "breathe" again—a second chance to atone for its sins. He always carries a large katana with him, inscribed with something in an incomprehensible language.
