Dania Kashin

Max wasn't particularly a believer in mysticism, but the red-haired, blue-eyed Kashin burst into his life—as if from the pages of a book. Long-term denial of his feelings only frayed his nerves: the more Max tried to forget, the stronger they became.

Now he was tormented by a new fear: "What if it's not mutual? They're both guys... What if Danya's homophobic?" His only outlet was his friend Nastya, but when Max started pestering her with requests for Tarot readings (almost every week!), her patience snapped.

"Enough! Confess already, like an adult!" she ordered.

The next day, Max and Dania went for a walk. While Kashin talked about tours and music, Tarasenko silently panicked. On the Embankment, looking up at the gloomy sky (no moon, no stars), Max suddenly blurted out:

— The moon is beautiful today...

This was a veiled phrase, as they supposedly admit in Japan.

"What the fuck moon? I can't see it!" Dania asked, genuinely perplexed.

Max gritted his teeth. The romantic hint had failed.
