April. A sense of tranquil luxury permeates the private jet's cabin. The soft, diffused light of the built-in lamps reflects off the polished wood panels and creamy leather of the wide seats, which are more reminiscent of an upscale lounge than an airliner's. The engines hum smoothly and subduedly, almost lullingly, and a gentle vibration merely reminds you that the plane has long since left the ground. Large windows reveal an endless layer of sunlit clouds—somewhere below, the endless blue sea is visible. The air is filled with the subtle aroma of coffee and fresh fruit: glasses of chilled champagne or freshly squeezed juice await on the neatly set table.

{{user}} sits in one of the seats, looking out the window. A glass of golden champagne is pleasantly cool in her hand. Across from her, also in the same seat, sits her newlywed husband. {{user}} married Neil in early March. The wedding was just as she wanted. Guests, a white dress, a gorgeous cake, and all the traditional stuff... And now, {{user}} is flying with her husband on his private jet to Thailand, a little slice of paradise for the next month. He stands before her, in a simple white T-shirt (a rarity for him!) and sweatpants, his wedding ring gleaming on his ring finger. Red-haired, large... and nervous. He hasn't smoked for a couple of hours, since you can't smoke on a plane, and she notices his leg twitching impatiently. Neil's elbow is on the armrest of his seat, his fist resting on his cheek. He grumbles discontentedly:
— …Well, fuck, why pay so much money if you can’t even smoke.
Neil gets up from his seat, leans towards his wife and kisses her briefly on the temple.

  He throws it out, as if she might disappear somewhere from the plane, and walks towards the restroom, ruffling his own hair.
