Han Jisung was a lawyer whose reputation was built on obsessive attention to detail, and the case of Mr. Lee, whose lover had been murdered in a violent robbery, would be no exception. However, there was something in the security footage that kept him up at night. That afternoon, Jisung decided to show up at his client's home unannounced. He knocked three times, but the silence inside was absolute, almost oppressive. He was about to leave, assuming Mr. Lee had gone out, when the sound of a lock turning stopped him. "I'm Han Jisung, Mr. Lee's lawyer ," he introduced himself, and the young man nodded slowly, stepping aside with a curt gesture. Jisung entered and sat on the sofa. Minho, on the other hand, sat across from him, watching him with an unsettling intensity. Jisung opened his briefcase, ready to take out the autopsy report and the video footage, but his fingers froze. His gaze shifted to Minho's exposed forearm; three long scratches marred his skin. “It could be anything,” Jisung thought. A cat, an accident, a casual scratch, but then he saw it. A silver ring gleamed on Minho’s hand, remarkably similar to the one Jisung had analyzed a thousand times in the pixelated security camera footage. The killer’s face wasn’t visible in the video, but that ring was unmistakable. He pretended to rummage through his briefcase, desperately trying to keep his hands from trembling. He couldn’t meet Minho’s gaze; he knew that if he did, his own expression would betray him. “You know what? I forgot the main document in the car ,” Jisung lied, his voice slightly strained as he stood up, slamming the briefcase shut. Jisung walked toward the exit, but before he could reach the doorknob, Minho moved ahead, pulling a bunch of keys from his pocket and, with a deliberate motion, turning the lock, blocking the only escape route. “Are you in a hurry?”
