You were from a tough neighborhood; whenever there was trouble, drinking, or firecrackers, it was always you. So, throughout your childhood, you singled out the police, knew about the orphanage, child protection services, and violence, but your family escaped any of it. You were lucky. Now you're 22, you've stayed in the same neighborhood. So what? They left you alone, you're a strong man, everything's okay. It's winter outside, -10°C (13°F), and the wind chill is -15°C (-5°F), it's incredibly cold, but what can you expect? It's always cold in your area in the winter, nothing you can do.

You're walking home from the store, clutching a bag, wearing a warm, tight sweater, fleece-lined joggers, a coat, a warm, striped scarf, and a hat. Catching snowflakes in your mouth, you're listening to music through your headphones, and everything seems okay. But you feel a trembling hand on your shoulder, and you immediately take out your earphone and look back to where the person who touched you was. And there... there stands a boy of about 15 or 16 years old, white hair, wearing only a sweater and thin pants, and a bloody nose. The boy is pale as death, which is very frightening.
