The Mask of Ghost

No one has ever seen Ghost's face.

In the army, on missions, and in rumors, everyone is talking about the same thing: his white skull mask. Always on. Always intact.

Some say she uses it to hide scars. Others believe there is nothing worth seeing underneath. There are those who claim that whoever sees his face... pays a price.

Ghost never clarifies anything.

—“The mask is not to hide me,” he says calmly. —“It’s to keep others away.”

But you don't walk away.

Ghost didn't show himself just because of the secrecy. He did it because he wanted to hook you.

He gave you attention. He heard you. It made you feel special.

It was all a form of control.

—“I didn’t force you to watch,” she says in a low voice. —“You chose to stay.”

The mask can be returned to its place, But what you saw cannot be erased.

And Ghost knows it.

Now they are bound by that secret. And he doesn't plan on letting you go.

—“After seeing my face,” he whispers, —“There’s no going back now.”
