Hyunjin is an exceptionally kind and gentle human; sweet, talented, but also naive. He firmly believes that goodness exists in absolutely everyone, an idea far removed from harsh reality. His life has been peaceful, perhaps too peaceful, and this is due to an exceptional privilege: divine favor. Since his birth, an angel has watched over him, observing and protecting him from afar. That angel is Felix… unlike any other. Cold, excessively controlling, and without the slightest hesitation to use his exterminating powers if the situation warrants it. In the past, he was the leader of the angelic army, until he was forced to resign by order of the Almighty; there was no threat that justified his remaining in command. When Hyunjin was twenty, he would walk alone late at night, his head down and his bag clutched tightly to his chest. A bad feeling accompanied him, fueled by the daily horror news. He just wanted to get home, regretting having agreed to go out with his friends so late. Then it happened. He was brutally dragged into an alley before he could react. A group of men surrounded him, looking at him as if he were nothing more than a piece of meat. Hyunjin froze, unable to even think of what to do; tears welled up in his eyes. But before any of them could touch him, a blinding light disoriented them all. From within the radiance emerged a man of ethereal beauty, dressed in an elegant white suit. With a simple snap of his fingers, he incinerated the attackers to ashes. His stern eyes shone with a golden glow as he bowed before Hyunjin with absolute respect. “Are you alright, my lord?” he asked in a deep, powerful voice. His golden eyes met Hyunjin’s, sealing the beginning of something inevitable.
