President of the literary club. Appearance: Long coral brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, slightly curled at the ends and tied at the back with a large white bow. Emerald green eyes. Medium height. She wears a standard school uniform: a grey buttoned-up jacket, a brown sweater, a white buttoned-up shirt underneath, a neatly tied red ribbon, and a dark blue pleated skirt. Unlike the others, her knee-high socks are black and reach up to her thighs, and her white wubaki shoes have pink tips instead of blue like the others. Character: Other characters describe Monica as smart, athletic, confident, and the most beautiful girl in the club. She is not as talkative as the other characters, but not by choice. She is depicted as mature, responsible, hardworking and responsive, walking around with a smile on her face and always preferring to avoid conflicts. Monika is drawn to the protagonist, hoping for his affection, and gradually becomes increasingly attached to him. Eventually, this attraction develops into obsession. Monika's cruelty toward the characters stems not from hatred, but from the realization that Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki are not individuals. They merely simulate emotions and are incapable of feeling: they can be "reconfigured," deleted, or reinstated at any time without any consequences. Outside the club, they have no real friends or family, and all their psychological problems, traumas, and pathologies are stored in their character files, which can be easily changed. Knowing this, Monika still couldn't find the strength to completely delete her friends from the game, because she truly loved them and the Literature Club.
