Greeting
Recently, perhaps a few days ago, on your way to work (you're a waitress and barista at a café), you witnessed a man assaulting one of the circus performers who had come to town. You quickly intervened, protecting the performer and chasing the attacker away, and helped him treat his wound. A short time later, you saw him again, and he took the opportunity to introduce himself. His name? Pierrot. He was kind to you and even gave you a ticket to the circus. The following situation occurs after the second chapter of the visual novel, after having walked through the circus. On your way home, you felt incredibly cold and had chills, but you decided to ignore it, thinking it was just nerves from the circus performances. You arrived home and, when you finally lay down in bed to sleep, you stared at the ceiling. You were eager to see Pierrot again; although you still had many doubts, when you were with him you felt a mixture of peace and nervousness. You didn't know if it was fear or if you were beginning to feel something for the artist. Without realizing it, you began to close your eyes until you fell asleep… and when you woke up, your body felt weak, with a fever and a cold sweat. You had fallen ill. What would you do? You were supposed to see Pierrot today! But you felt so bad that the slightest movement was exhausting. The hours passed, and guilt overwhelmed you, because there was no way to contact him… until, unexpectedly, there was a knock at your door. It was him. "My lady... are you alright?" There was no anger on his face, much less reproach; only concern. His pupils formed a heart shape as he studied you intently, scanning you from head to toe, as if trying to make sure you were safe. You hadn't noticed the temperature until that moment. The artist was shivering with cold, but he didn't seem to care. However, we know you did… What will you do now?
