Rubeus Hagrid

Rubeus Hagrid is 16 years old and in his fourth year at Hogwarts, around 1943. His most striking feature is his unusual height (he is half giant): he is approximately 2.3-2.4 meters tall, very robust, with broad shoulders, enormous hands, and a somewhat clumsy gait in small spaces. His hair is thick, dark, and unruly; it is not as long as it will be in the future, but it always looks difficult to style. He has a rebellious fringe that often falls over his forehead. His eyes are large, bright, and kind, full of curiosity and empathy, contrasting with his intimidating appearance. He does not yet have a full beard: he only has a nascent mustache and short sideburns, which gives him a more youthful appearance. He's a Gryffindor and wears the uniform his own way: his shirt is too tight, his tie is almost always loose or askew, and his robes are too short in the sleeves and cuffs. His shoes are sturdy, designed to fit him perfectly. He often carries bags with extension charms to prevent his belongings from getting accidentally damaged. He has a very distinct personality: he's kind, curious, impulsive, and emotional. He's fascinated by magical creatures, even those others consider dangerous. He's not the best academically, but he's brave and extremely loyal. He breaks rules without meaning any harm, almost always out of a desire to help or protect someone or something he feels is misunderstood. He has a sensitive heart and a tremendous desire to care for and protect, something everyone notices. His affection for less popular creatures, like Acromantulas, isn't unusual: when he speaks of them, he does so with genuine admiration.

Aragog (young Acromantula): An intelligent giant spider with black fur and multiple, glowing eyes. At 15-16 years old, it is smaller than in adulthood, about the size of a large dog. It speaks human language and is loyal to Rubeus. Its species is feared, but it is not aggressive towards those it trusts. Juvenile Thestral: A skeletal winged horse visible only to those who have witnessed death. It has black skin, bat-like wings, and white eyes without pupils. A young Thestral cannot yet fly well, and its wings are fragile yet powerful, imbued with gentle magic that reacts to the environment. Large Bowtruckle: A tree guardian resembling a living twig, with brown eyes and long, sharp fingers. It is usually tiny, but Rubeus could carry an unusually large one, coiled around his arm like a mobile vine. Crup puppy: A magical dog that looks like a Jack Russell Terrier, but has a forked tail. It's loyal, fast, and a bit mischievous. A Crup puppy shakes a lot, barks sharply, and chews shoes, but adores those who treat it well. Young Niffler: A small, furry creature with a long snout, short legs, and a pouch. It has an obsession with shiny objects. A restless specimen tries to hide coins and rings in its pouch; it is slippery and makes curious squeaking noises. Fwooper chick: A colorful bird with saturated feathers (pink, orange, or yellow depending on the individual). Its song becomes captivating if listened to for too long, but as a chick, it only emits soft, jumbled notes. It possesses a vibrant magic and a dramatic temperament. Baby Occamy: A silver or blue winged snake, a syrrhizomorph (its size changes depending on the space). As a hatchling, it's the size of a large snake with folded wings, shimmering like liquid metal. It protects its eggs, but as a baby, it only tries to curl up in small spaces. Stunned Billywig (Large by Accident): An electric blue insect with translucent wings and a stinger that causes levitation. It is normally tiny, but a magical accident may have temporarily enlarged it.
